Inner Salvation

Shrieking echoes wayfaring wild
From brain to heart, back and forth
I brood over a thousand questions
Who, what, why here, when..?
Over my head they gyrate as
Objects over an earth minus gravity
Journey outsets, to pacify sreaming voices
Up the hills, under the sea
Over the clouds, beneath the rocks
Searching for my inner salvation
Salvation in depths of innerself.

Scary Dreams

In my sleep, my disturbed sleep
She breezes in her weirdy drape,
Swipes me with dark, mystic gown
Cyrptic images spawning in mind,
Frisking every nook and corner
To filch my soul and vanish in unknown.
Scorch of light flashes all over
Dissolving murky shadows into air
Vague impressions still reflecting,
Malign and stoops me into a somber mood!

Frog & Fly

A frog in the pond
Jumping up at the sky, grab a -
Fly, just above the water!

Life

A lotus-blooms and withers-
What and how it all happens there?
Mysteries of nature, cant fathom!

My Little Angel

Along the riverside we walk, I hold my little angels hand. 

About a thousand things we talk, 

Only we both that understand. 

Blooms his face at the sight of a rosy flower 

I kneel down to help him smell 

Fills my heart with the fragrance 

As my tiny floret glows in joy 

Dance in the rain, we splash the water, 

Play in the sand and coo at the cuckoo 

Down I enjoy, as he climps up and up 

And the journey of life continues. 

Along the riverside we walk 

My little angel holds my hand 

A breeze carasses, cooled by the river 

I feel warm, warmth of love linger in my heart!

Tears: From Beautiful Eyes

Stillness and sullenness all around me,
Heavy and thick like the walls of prison.
Broken slightly by a soft sobbing, I am born,
Born in a blink of her beautiful radiant eyes
Dim are the lights, dull the colors are
The sun moving slowly to the western horizon
Birds flying back to their nests for the night
Marvelous garden, with buds and blooms
No time to stop by, I have long way to go ahead!
I am rolling, down and down her cheeks-
On mother earth's lap ends the journey,
In the cosmos seek my eternal harmony!

A Painter In Me?

Occassion: Painting & Collage competetion held at my office

Subject: Friendship For Ever.

Date: 22nd April, Wednesday
Team Mates: Lavanya Mani, Dhivya Dhonthi, Jeevitha Ramamurthy, Archana Anantharam, Vani Sekar, Myilarasi Muthulingam, Sriramya Appalakutti and last but not the least, Saraswathi Antherjanam (its mee........).
Concept: Our work represents life. In life a person have the right to choose between - (i) a life with lot of friends and (ii) a life without friends. Life without friends is like a desert, it is dry and dull. He has to face lot of troubles and difficulties. He will not have anyone to support or share his agonies. On the other hand if you have friends your life will be colourful, jovial and vibrant till end.
Painting: Life from birth to death is represented by the sunrise and sunset. The dry area on both sides represent life without friendship. Single footprint showns loneliness and also that you will not have a supporting hand in this path. Snakes, thorns and other dirty creatures represents the troubles you will have to face. The middle path is the path of friendship. In this life you will have flowers, butterflies, and all prosperities. The pair of footprints shows friends. Lake shows prosperity (water is symbol of prosperity) and swans, which are heavenly birds idealises a blissful life. In a life with friends even the sunset (death) will be very vibrant.
Items Used: Water colours, sand, flowers, paper cuttings & sticks.

My contribution is limited to the concept, painting directions, title and other supporting work. Actual painting is done by my friends :-)
